Skillfully crafted and implemented policies, guidelines and agreements shape daily classroom teaching and impact the overall learning outcomes that are part of all education. You will have an opportunity to practice skills that support and enhance the learning experience for both teachers and students through the Model for Communicating Boundaries. You will also learn how to expand the capacity to stand your own ground with confidence and grace while extending respect and courtesy to your students. Best Practices for Teaching Hands-on Courses

Across the spectrum of modalities taught in massage, bodywork and somatic programs, there are aspects that are common to all hands-on courses. This seminar will focus on best practices for giving technique demonstrations, options for how to assist students tableside, management of the classroom during hands-on exchanges, and strategies for assessment and evaluation of student performance.
